Coast Personnel Services is seeking Quality Inspectors for a client in Santa Clara, CA.  for both 1st and 2nd shift.

Job Summary: Responsible for in-process, final product, and incoming inspection. May participate internal audits. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

? Participate in the enhancement of the company’s ISO 9001 quality system. 

? Perform workmanship inspections per IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, Mil-STD-883, Method 2017, 2010 

? Perform in-process inspection on Xicom SSPA’s and TWTA amplifiers 

? Perform in-process inspection on chip and wire modules, 

? Participate in the internal audits 

? Participate in MRB activities 

? Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to analyze trends in in-process quality related issues. 

? Inspect finished products prior to shipment. 

? Initiate discrepancy reports as needed 

? Perform other duties and responsibilities when required. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: No 

Computer Skills and/or Tools: MS Word, MS Excel or equivalent. 

Qualifications/Competencies: 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: 

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels. 

? Experience with ISO 9001 requirements. 

? Experience with IPC workmanship standards a plus 

? Ability to anticipate and perceive quality issues. 

? Experience with visual inspection techniques using microscopes and magnified ring lamps 

? Experience with basic measuring tools: caliper, micrometer 

? Experience in root cause analysis. 

? Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC). 

? Experience in a manufacturing environment. 

? Experience in radio frequency (RF) a plus. 

Education and/or Experience: 

Experience in Quality and five years of job-related experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience. 

An ASQ certification a plus.
