We learned our partners / colleagues were having bad experiences with their 3PL providers and knew we could do better. We understand the importance of timely responses and proactive communication in a fast-paced industry like e-commerce. Job Overview & Conditions This position directs and oversees all warehouse operations while optimizing processes and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through multiple 3PL fulfillment facilities in the Greater Houston, TX area. This includes overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, while ensuring efficient and accurate execution of tasks. This position also requires someone who can effectively communicate to the client and back to the organization to identify & meet all requirements necessary to grow our business. This position is only for those who have an entrepreneurial/”extreme ownership” mindset. While the advertised rate starts at $120k, the CEO does not mind paying beyond $200k if this person is able to effectively take over the business, run it, and grow it. This is a “you eat what you kill” type position where many systems and processes have to be built from scratch, while managing the completion of many other required tasks. Working conditions are primarily in a warehousing & office environment. Work may involve the lifting of materials and/or product up to 25 pounds and at times, include wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to: safety goggles & reflective vests, steel-toed work boots, and gloves. Duties and Responsibilities This position requires someone who excels at and has a proven track record of: Providing Visionary Strategic Planning to grow the company by anticipating future industry trends & capitalizing on emerging opportunities Providing Leadership in Supply Chain and Fulfillment by demonstrating: Recognized for operational excellence and strategic vision in the logistics sector. They are knowledgeable on many various modes of transportation (rail, ocean, over the road, and air etc.) and how to leverage to meet/exceed customer requirements Driving Continuous Improvement through systems, which enhance processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Proven expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma principles to supply chain and fulfillment operations. Fostering an analytical and Data-Driven environment by: Prioritizing the establishment and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Using data to drive decision-making and measure success. Driving the organization towards operational excellence Conducting Communication and Strategy by: Articulating complex strategies clearly and effectively. Translating overarching visions into actionable, tactical plans. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including transportation, customer service, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and timely order fulfillment. Innovative problem-solver capable of critical & creative thinking to meet & exceed deadlines. Effective communicator (written/verbal) who builds rapport with vendors/clients & conduct negotiations with providers. Organizational Leader who builds and maintains teams that thrive both on & off work Efficient, effective & organized and capable of managing time & scheduling, prioritizing, and anticipating future requirements Adaptable to a fast-paced environment where roles & responsibilities may change depending upon mission Previous experience in set-up of new warehouses, operations, inventory planning, shipping and logistics, or similar fields Experience with PC applications – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Education / Preferred Qualifications College degree OR equivalent work experience in a related field Lean Six Sigma blackbelt and Lean experience (LSSBB Certification) REQUIRED (Blackbelt preferred) Warehouse Management System experience preferred Personal Development is strongly encouraged (professional reading, certifications, courses etc.) All applicants must submit to background check and drug screen
