Warehouse General Manager


Position Overview:

The General Manager is responsible for interfacing with the customer to align customer expectations and operational performance. The Shared Services Manager will collaborate with internal leadership and local operations, inventory and quality teams to ensure all inventory and quality management issues are identified and resolved appropriately while also managing communication including external customers across multiple warehouse networks. The Shared Services Manager will also provide supervision to centralized shared services teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interact with the users to ensure business requirements are translated into functional and technical specifications
  • Perform the design, development, unit testing and documentation of new WMS requirements
  • Support WMS integrations with new technologies
  • Analyze WMS issues and address the root cause
  • Provide go-live support for implementations and new technologies
  • Partner with internal CJ teams (such as Operations and Engineering), where WMS subject matter expert knowledge is required
  • Provide on-call support as needed
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong and proven skills using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations based on analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience leading a department with an advanced communication management tool and/or process automation is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data & provide recommendations
  • 3-5 years of logistics experience
  • 2 years of leading direct reports with ability to manage, coach, and develop salaried directed reports
  • Ability to travel as needed
