Warehouse Manager


The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within our solar manufacturing company. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure efficient and organized warehouse activities.


  • Manage and supervise all aspects of the solar manufacturing warehouse.

  • Plan and coordinate warehouse layout and storage areas for maximum efficiency.

  • Coordinate and oversee logistics of shipping and receiving inventory.

  • Oversee receiving and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to create a safe working environment.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations.

  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve any issues.

  • Monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage workflow.

  • Manage and Supervise forklift drivers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and warehouse management software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating warehouse equipment.

  • Corrected vision to normal range; normal hearing and talking is required for verbal communications.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, additional education, or certifications in relevant fields preferred.

  • 5 – 8 years of experience in warehouse management.

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Familiarity with solar manufacturing or renewable energy products is a plus.
