We are looking for strong Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technicians with hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, plumbing, and plant utility systems.

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $30.00–$32.00/hour

• Shift: 1st Shift / Day Shift

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Openings: 2

• Location: Lakeland, FL

• Travel: None

• Must be flexible for overtime when required.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required.

• Hands-on experience with industrial boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and plant utility systems.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

• Experience maintaining pumps, motors, piping, valves, and industrial equipment.

• PVC plumbing experience, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical circuits and motor controls.

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read equipment manuals and technical documentation.

• Must hold a license or certification on at least one applicable piece of equipment, such as a boiler, seamer, or filler.

• Must complete a Mechanical/Electrical Skills and Aptitude Assessment during the hiring process.

We are looking for industrial plant utilities experience—not residential or commercial building maintenance alone.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.

• Maintain compressed air, water supply, and wastewater systems.

• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, piping, and utility equipment.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant utility systems.

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.

• Install and repair PVC piping and plumbing systems.

• Monitor pressure, temperature, leaks, and equipment performance.

• Respond to utility alarms, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance requests.

• Maintain facility infrastructure, lighting, plumbing, doors, and drains.

• Assist with equipment installations and maintenance projects.

• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures.

• Document maintenance activities using a CMMS.

• Follow all plant safety, GMP, SQF, and PPE requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Industrial boilers

• Chillers and cooling towers

• Compressed air systems

• Pumps and motors

• Industrial plumbing and PVC piping

• Electrical circuits and motor controls

• Water supply and wastewater systems

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

• Preventive maintenance

• Plant utility systems

Preferred: Industrial refrigeration, reverse osmosis, PLC troubleshooting, automation, Krones, KHS, US Bottlers equipment, and Lean Manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.

• Approximately 1–3+ years of hands-on industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.

• Approximately 1–3+ years of experience with industrial boilers and cooling systems.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Relevant equipment license or certification required.

• Food, beverage, or packaging manufacturing experience preferred.

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics preferred.

• Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.

• Ability to work independently in an active manufacturing environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• 100% onsite in an industrial beverage manufacturing facility.

• Work around operating machinery, boilers, chillers, and plant utility equipment.

• Must follow all safety and food manufacturing procedures.

• Must be available for overtime when needed.

• No travel required.
