JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with industrial machinery, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience with 480V electrical systems, motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and production equipment
- Welding and light fabrication experience
- Basic machining experience (lathe and vertical mill)
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Basic plumbing and industrial wiring experience
- Comfortable working with high-pressure gas systems (up to 10,000 PSI)
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the facility
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Repair pumps, compressors, ovens, lighting, and other production equipment
- Perform welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, and industrial wiring as needed
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Support equipment installations and process improvements
- Ensure HAZMAT materials are handled and stored properly
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability
- Assist and mentor junior maintenance technicians
- Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
This position requires someone who can respond quickly to equipment failures and occasionally work overtime or support emergency maintenance when needed.
