SALARY: $575K-$600K BASE + $5000 PER LIVER STIPEND

General Anesthesiologist (MD/DO)

Join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team in a care team model environment with strong support and balanced scheduling.
Position Overview
- Care Team Model: Typically 1:6 MD:CRNA (max 1:4)
- 6 General Anesthesiologists on staff
- 30 CRNA FTEs supporting operations
- 15–16 ORs running daily
- Dedicated teams for Cardiac and OB (no crossover required)
- No Pediatric or Cardiac cases required
Schedule & Call
- 4-day work week + light post-call night (phone only, minimal callbacks)
- Call taken from home
- 6 call days/month:
- 3 First Call
- 3 Second Call
- Approx. 1 night/week + 1 weekend/month
- Post-call day off guaranteed
- Cardiac team always available for backup
- Call is fully included in base salary
Case Mix
Diverse and balanced case exposure including:
- Endo/GI, GYN, General Surgery
- ENT, Radiology, Urology
- Vascular, Orthopedics, Podiatry
- Plastics, Neurosurgery, Organ Procurement
- Endo-OR
- Liver procedures (training/certification provided if needed)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of graduation)
- Open to new graduates
- Will assist with IMLC or Texas license
Compensation & Benefits
- $575,000 – $600,000 base salary
- $5,000 per liver case stipend
- 10 weeks PTO
- 1099 option available
