NEW OPENINGS WITH A LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN SHEBOYGAN FALLS WI. WE ARE LOOKING FOR CNC MACHINISTS / PROGRAMMERS FOR OUR LOCATION. MUST HAVE CNC PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCE WITH MASTERCAM -OR FEATURECAM – AND MAZAK SYSTEMS.

CNC Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift

Shifts Available

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

2nd Shift Perks Include:

  • $1.00/hr shift premium
     

    Position Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of parts to print specifications using a variety of machining centers. This role also supports machine maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machine tools

  • Manufacture parts according to print specifications and tolerances

  • Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and specifications

  • Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring equipment

  • Perform dimensional checks on all diameters and critical features

  • Safely operate overhead cranes to move large materials and parts

  • Maintain machine shop equipment and work areas

  • Train and support other team members on proper and safe equipment operation

  • Collaborate with team members to proactively solve problems


Additional Responsibilities (As Needed)

  • Perform routine machine maintenance

  • Assist in developing more efficient manufacturing procedures

  • Deburr parts when production schedules allow


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3–5 years of CNC machining experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol or similar CNC software

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

  • Strong math skills, including geometry and metric conversions

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Experience using precision measuring tools


Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands

  • Use of foot controls for machine operation

  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment

  • Required PPE: safety glasses and safety shoes


Tools & Equipment Used

  • CNC and production manufacturing equipment

  • Micrometers, gage blocks, height gages, verniers

  • Hand tools, wrenches, and computer-assisted software


Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/factory setting

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles

  • Loud noise environment
