PAYS $30-$38 HOURLY (DOE)
PTO IS PRORATED AND ITS ACCRUED
80 HOURS ACCRUED FOR SOMEONE WITH 2-5 YEARS XP
120 HOUR FOR SOMEONE WITH 5+
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support a high-volume food packaging manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. Experience in food or consumer packaged goods manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems up to 480V

Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, VFDs, sensors, photoeyes, relays, contactors, and PLC-controlled equipment

Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams

Support and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Assist with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)

Install new electrical equipment, panels, conduit, and wiring

Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime

Follow all food safety (GMP), OSHA, and plant safety standards

Document repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities in CMMS
Required Qualifications

2–5+ years experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of 480V systems, control circuits, and industrial automation

Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls

Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues under production pressure

Familiarity with food or packaging equipment preferred

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing

Electrical certifications, journeyman license, or technical degree
-
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and PanelView HMIs
