MANUFACTURING PLANT IN MODESTO CA IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG INDUSTRIAL PLANT ELECTRICIAN. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS 5+ YEARS IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT AND ALSO SOMEONE HWO IS STRONG WITH 480V AND ALSO PLCS. BONUS IF YOU CAN PROGRAM PLCS

SHIFT: TRAIN ON DAYS 7AM-3PM BUT THEN THEY WILL MOVE TO 2ND 3PM-11PM OR 3RD 11PM-7AM

MON-FRI WITH OCCASSIONAL WEEKENDS

PAY IS SET AT $37.24 AGAIN UNION SHOP

SHIFT DIFF: $0.25 FOR 2ND AND $0.30 FOR 3RD

Position Summary – Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician, you will:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and operational issues

  • Install and wire motors, switch panels, fuse boxes, and power circuits

  • Create and update electrical layouts, schematics, and documentation

  • Work with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, including VFDs and 4–20 mA circuits

  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve safety


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Journeyman Industrial Electrician

  • Proficient with amp meters, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes

  • Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, hardware, and software

  • Experience with VFDs, PLC programming, and industrial controls

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics

  • Knowledge of industrial wiring, motors, switches, panels, lighting, and power circuits

  • Familiarity with state and local electrical codes

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities


What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment
    or a degree in a related field

  • Journeyman electrical status

  • Ability to pass job-related pre-employment testing

  • Strong commitment to safety standards
