FIELD SERVICING COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO COVER THE MINNEAPOLIS MN AND SURROUNDING AREA. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITHIN 1.5 HOURS OF MINNEAPOLIS. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS OPEN TO WORKING IN INDUSTRIAL SETTINGS AND SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH COMPRESSED AIR UNITS, DRYERS, ETC.

PAYS: $26-$27 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

AFTER 3 MONTHS YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMMISSION FOR PARTS BILLED POTENTIAL TO MAKE $100K+ A YEAR

MUST BE OPEN TO BEING ON THE ROAD AND POTENTIALLY STAYING OVERNIGHT IN A HOTEL 1-2 NIGHTS PER WEEK

Field Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial process and mechanical equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong mechanical and technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Equipment & Systems Serviced

The Field Service Technician will specialize in servicing the following industrial systems and components:

  • Compressed air dryers and de-humidifiers

  • Pneumatic Products compressed air dryers

  • Process controls and chemical metering pumps

  • Pulsafeeder metering pumps

  • Radar and radiometric level sensors on process vessels

  • VEGA level gauges and instrumentation

  • Vessel pressure relief valves and blanketing pressure regulators

  • Protectoseal equipment

  • Vessel agitators, gearboxes, and mechanical seals

  • Chemineer / NOV Inc. systems

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform field service work including inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

    • Install and commission new equipment at customer facilities

    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues

    • Maintain accurate service documentation and reports

    • Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment condition and service recommendations

    • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

    • Travel to customer sites as required

    Qualifications

    • Mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation background preferred

    • Experience with industrial equipment, pumps, compressors, or process systems a plus

    • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation

    • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
