Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician

? Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
? Schedule: Some weekends and overtime required (24/7 plant operation)
? Pay Rate: $38–$42 per hour (based on experience)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLCs and PLC-controlled equipment, including AC/DC systems, 480/240/120V circuits, rectifiers, electrical controls, and bus systems.

Utilize diagnostic instruments and tools such as volt/ohm meters, oscilloscopes, amp probes, pyrometers, tachometers, ultrasonic testers, and computers to identify equipment issues.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, ladder logic diagrams, schematics, sketches, and facility drawings.

Perform basic plumbing and maintain facility systems including water, gas, waste, air, oil, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using appropriate tools and materials.

Inspect, repair, and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.

Troubleshoot and repair molding machines, grinders, augers, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and other supporting equipment.

Perform all tasks required to maintain efficient production and high-quality output on all assigned machines.

Conduct equipment setup and changeovers on molding equipment as required.

Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) tasks within assigned areas.

Perform mold, neck tooling, pin, and additional equipment changes.

Communicate machine repair status and maintenance needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.

Respond to emergency situations to ensure the safety of personnel, facility, and equipment.

Maintain or exceed standards for safety, quality, housekeeping, and production.
-
May supervise and train other maintenance personnel within the department.

Complete assigned special projects as needed.

Assist in the development, updating, and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Vocational Training or Associate’s Degree preferred.

5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience; injection or blow molding experience strongly preferred.

Strong electrical knowledge; electrician experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and logic schematics.

Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
-
Strong analytical and decision-making skills; experience using DMAIC and FMEA methodologies preferred.
-
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
-
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
