THIS IS A DAY SHIFT ROLE AS WELL ROUGHLY 7AM-5PM MUST BE ON CALL FOR EMERGENCY
SALARY RANGE: $95K-$117K (FIRM)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for plant equipment and building maintenance, project planning, equipment layouts, and troubleshooting for assigned areas. The engineer will collaborate with management, contractors, and technical teams to support automation upgrades, electrical systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyze engineering proposals, process requirements, and technical data

Evaluate feasibility of new equipment or facility modifications

Provide technical guidance on materials, processes, and manufacturing techniques

Troubleshoot plant equipment and assist technicians with problem solving

Test newly installed equipment to ensure performance specifications
-
Perform cost estimating for projects and upgrades
-
Initiate equipment purchases and maintenance supply orders

Generate reports for management on engineering and maintenance activities

Lead and coordinate electrical systems, control systems, and automation upgrades

Support design and installation of electrical projects

Provide engineering support for internally and externally developed projects

Basic Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Must be able to access export-controlled items

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum 3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of electrical control systems (prints, VFDs, motors, drives, servos, sensors)

Experience with electrical systems: 460VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, 5VDC

Ladder logic software experience (ProWORX 32, RSLogix, SoMachine)

Robotics knowledge (Yaskawa Motoman preferred)

Skilled in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools

Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software

Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens PLCs/drives

Competent using various Fluke meters
-
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills for contractors and technicians
