MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR OPENING LANCASTER CALIFORNIA AT A LARGE FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT. 75-85K NO BONUS. 40 HOURS OF SICK TIME WHEN THEY START AND 2 WEEKS OF PTO ACCRUED. BENEFITS START THE 1ST OF THE MONTH FOLLOWING THE 30TH DAY OF EMPLOYMENT. 

MUST BE A STRONG LEADER OUT OF FOODS AND HAVE THE FOLLOWING TRAITS: 

•Food or food packaging manufacturing maintenance experience required
•Supervisory or team lead experience required 
•Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment required 
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required  
•Must be a hands-on and engaging leader 

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for repair and maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment, dismantling and assembling multiple brands of mechanical and electrical equipment, repair and replacement of defective parts, and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all facility operations are running smoothly. You will coordinate maintenance activities, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a food processing environment.
Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health and safety standards, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
•    Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team.
•    Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
•    Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
•    Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
•    Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
•    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
•    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•    Train and mentor maintenance staff.
•    Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Minimum of 5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience required.
•    Food Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Experience Required.
•    Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role is a must.
•    Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems.
•     Excellent leadership and team management skills.
•     Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•     Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•     Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•     Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
•     High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
•    Minimum of 5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience required
•    Food Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Experience Required
•    Supervisory experience is required
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Professional office environment.  Primary office environment is ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

This job operates in a manufactory environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold indoor areas or warm outdoor areas of the facility.

COMPENSATION: $65,000 TO $75,000 ANNUAL SALARY
