8+ years’ experience working in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment OR combination of education and experience

- Experience with facility repairs, carpentry, painting, drywall, lighting, etc.
- Ability to operate a Forklift, Scissor lift, one man lift, etc.

Job Description
- PMs, repairs, and installs of production equipment, facility plant equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment, and respond to correct equipment mechanical and electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective/worn equipment parts, control devices, motors, belts, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Operate machine shop equipment, lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.
- Proficient in use of welding equipment – gas/MIG/TIG.
- Occasional painting, carpentry, sheetrock and flooring, lighting change-outs (interior, exterior) as needed.
- In-depth knowledge of boilers/environmental stability control room systems.
- Perform lab equipment installation, PMs, calibration, and repairs.
- In-depth and demonstrated knowledge of PLCs, use Ladder logic (minor code changes)
- Follow all OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations.
- Perform equipment changeovers. Able to train others and improve changeover tact times.
- In-depth and demonstrated knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Effectively communicate shift/daily pass downs, ability to train others in safe and proper use of aerial lifts.
Education:
- Required- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred- AS Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics, and/or Electrical/Electronics, HVAC-R training/education with license/certifications, Electrical license/certifications
