3rd SHIFT 11PM-7AM
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot injection molding machines including process and auxiliary
equipment. Use mechanical skills and critical thinking to determine root cause
of equipment malfunctions.
• Use a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Test sensors and other electrical components and replace as needed.
• Troubleshoot robot and EOAT problems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
• Troubleshoot thermoplastic injection molding process problems
• Write new plastic processes using scientific molding principles
• Perform mold changes and start ups.
• Determine tooling problems and communicate with tool room to resovle issues.
• Balance hot runner systems
• Drill out hot runner molds as needed.
• Lead set up techs in the department to ensure process effecieny
• Utilize 5S, continuous improvement and Lean tools daily to improve the
department.
