Large company in Upland CA is looking for Folder Technicians to join the team. All 3 shifts are available. 

Looking for candidates with either Vijuk or Pratham Machines that is a must.

Shifts: all 3 are available

Pays $28-$30 hourly

JOB DESCRIPTION: Folder Technician
STATUS: Non-exempt – Hourly
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor 

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible to setup and run multiple equipment to include troubleshooting, maintenance and cleanup. 

REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Daily interaction with production employees
Good mechanical aptitude skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Equipment calibration & assorted hand tools.
Continual improvement methods. Interpretation of customer specifications and work order information.
Able to clearly write worksheets
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and simple division.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Daily interaction with all employees. Out of the box thinker.

PAST EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
2+ years recent and continuous experience in folding equipment setup in a manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION High School diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent. 3.0

POSITION MAIN DUTIES
1. Setup folding equipment to the proper specifications based on associated documentation and standard operating procedures.
2. Monitors and makes adjustments, as needed.
3. Work in efficient and orderly manner.
4. Routinely checking fold to assure equipment accuracy and running efficiently. 5. Accurately completes paperwork utilizing cGMP requirements.
6. Performs equipment maintenance on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule and as required.
7. Produces consistent high quality work.
8. Follows policies and procedures as set forth by management.
9. Completes an inspection record at the start of each work order performed.
10. Checks printed literature against Quality Assurance approved samples, as available.
11. Removes and disposes of any unacceptable or inferior printed literature.
12. Completes a daily log of orders inspected.
13. Communicates with lead, Quality personnel or supervisor on quality issues. 14. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with good housekeeping, 5S practices and safety requirements.
15. Participates in team collaboration.
