  • Lead people, number of which growing more everyday
  • 5+ years experience Project manager
  • ideally multiple languages; is going to need international project management skill
  • Based Knoxville due to projects originating from there
  • Role beings with projects but could be larger scope
  • Seasoned in compressor engines as well as rotating machinery
  • Ideally has worked for a service provider NOT customer (worked in factory), manufacturing experience basically
  • Proven record of success with medium to large projects + international projects
  • With knowledge of international hazardous area standards; dealt with customer expectations + country expectations
  • Looking for someone who’s hungry for growth as the company is also growing
  • Goal is to hit ground running as working manager/leading role and immediate handling of some resources allocated to them including services handed to them
  • Internal project management from sales until the internal execution lines up with customer expectations
  • Junior level PM will be immediately reporting to this person; eventually adding on more individuals overtime from field services/installation etc
  • Preferred: 20,30,40 projects, pref some overseas is the strongest muscle needed with control systems understandings i.e. industrial management with experience with instruments and controls

What You Will Do:

  • This position will hold leadership responsibility for profitable project execution with proven global experience and cultural awareness. This position will own project scope, cost, schedule, timeline, resourcing, and delivery. People leadership is a key part of this role, both direct reports and cross-departmental.
  • Manages all project execution
  • Demonstrate leadership agility for positive client outcome
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of technical talents, in person and remote
  • Drive standardized deployment (work instructions / procedures / guidance)
  • Establish reporting measures on cost / profit / completion
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Influence innovation in solution portfolio
  • Travel up to 25% and some international travel
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 15 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Lead instrumentation projects for large industrials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills; ability to establish trust / credibility / influence
  • Strong analytical skills; demonstrate creative troubleshooting skills
  • Familiar with international hazardous area standards (e.g., CSA C1 D2 / ATEX / IECeX)
  • Familiar with global markets (e.g., Latin America, Middle East Asia Pacific)
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with reciprocating machinery and machinery condition monitoring systems
  • Industrial wireless applications and protocols
  • Multiple language skills (i.e., Spanish, French, Arabic)
  • PMP Project Management Professional or equivalent
  • PE Professional Engineering license
