THIS IS A DAY SHIFT ROLE MON-FRI WITH SOME SATURDAYS
PAY RATE DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE $28+
JOB DESCRIPTION: Facility Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property; making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs to the machines and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
You will and Most importanly: Perform general repair and regular maintenance of industrial air compressors with greater than 500 horsepower motors. (High Pressure Air – 600psi on avg)
Ingersoll Rand Compressors
Have a working knowledge of auxiliary industrial support equipment, including but not limited to: Chillers, Compressors (high or low pressure), Towers, Air Dryers, Pumps, etc.
Have a working knowledge of general building and ground maintenance, including but not limited to: 120/227V electrical, lighting, plumbing, and painting, etc.
Have a working knowledge of fire systems (monitoring, inspections, testing), facility access systems, emergency lighting system, etc.
Ensure operation of auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer’s instructions; notifying supervisor of needed repairs.
Enhance auxiliary equipment performance through monitoring and making adjustments.
Adhere to plant preventive maintenance as outlined in PICS and follows proper work order procedures.
Locate parts efficiently and effectively utilizing proper parts room checkout procedures.
Attend required training sessions to increase knowledge base.
Perform all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Company Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
Be responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Be involved in installation projects and/or modifications.
Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
2-year degree or prior work experience with certifications on relevant disciplines.
Team oriented in all job functions.

Blend of technical, interpersonal skills and continuous learning through training.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Basic computer skills.
PLC Programming Knowledge is a plus.
