nJOB DESCRIPTION: Electro Mechanic
n
nCompany is currently seeking an Electro Mechanic to work at the Toughkenamon,PA location who will be responsible for the maintaining and repairing various industrial food processing equipment and facility including bearings, belts, and chains; coupling alignment; gear boxes; pumps; conveyers; wrapping machines; fans/blowers; HVAC; and plumbing.

nJob duties for this position include, but are not limited to:nn
- nt
- Safe operation of shop equipment. nt
- Diagnostics and preventive maintenance. nt
- Troubleshoots malfunctioning equipment and provides appropriate solutions for repair.nt
- Communicates directly with operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process area.nt
- Must be able determine proper tensions, speeds, alignment tolerances, pressures, and flows utilizing equipment and component documentation. nt
- Must follow/support all Company safety procedures and perform all work in a safe manner. nt
- Performs plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unplugging drains and performing other plumbing jobs.nt
- Performs general building maintenance including repairing lighting issues.nt
- Inspects and monitors operation of heating and air conditioning units, changing filters as required. nt
- Bench work as assigned.nt
- Rebuilding, overhauling, decommissioning, and installing equipment. nt
- Performs pneumatic maintenance on vacuum coolers and other equipment as required.nt
- Inspects and monitors overall maintenance of plant and equipment and proactively addresses maintenance issues.nt
- Works with outside contractors to install / repair equipment.nt
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools to accomplish tasks.nt
- Assists in other tasks as assigned by manager.n

nThe ideal candidate will possess:nn
- nt
- At least five years’ experience as an industrial mechanic, machinist, or electrician, preferably in the mushroom or other food processing industry. nt
- Demonstrated problem solving ability.nt
- Ability to read and write English and understand written maintenance manuals and instructions.nt
- Possess basic math skills such as adding fractions, calculating square footage. nt
- Ability to independently resolve problems. nt
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests. nt
- Can complete safety training such as Lock-Out / Tag –Out.nt
- Accuracy and fine attention to documentation detail is imperative.nt
- Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred, but not required. n
