“FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT IN MINSTER OHIO IS SEEKING AN ENGINEERING MANAGER TO LEAD ALL ENGINEERING PROJECTS. THIS PERSON REPORTS INTO THE SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING. ALSO WILL HAVE TWO DIRECT REPORTS 2 PROJECT ENGINEERS. NEEDS TO HAVE STRONG CAPITAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE AS WELL WITH CAPEX PROJECTS IS A MUST. SALARY RANGE IS 130K WITH AN 18% BONUS. FULL RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE AS WELL. MUST COME OUT OF FOODS AND MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE.

nThe Manager Engineering is responsible to lead the Minster plant's engineering team and support all strategic, operational and policy aspects of the Minster plant in the areas of safety, quality, performance, management, and organizational objectives.

nResponsibilities:
n
nMember of the Plant Leadership team
nMain point of contact for all Capital Projects for the plant
nCoordinate any existing Processing, Packaging, Building and Utilities projects
nBuild scope of work and preliminary budgets for potential projects
nPrepare Capital Masterplan with the leadership team
nResponsible for managing Plant’s CAPEX budget
nCoordinate and lead multi-functional teams
nCreate, design and evaluate call for tender documents
nEdit and advise on Danone’s Standards
nServe as technical alignment leader during bidding processes
nBuild capabilities within engineering team
nDirectly manage a team of project engineers

nEducation and Experience (Requirements):
n
nBachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Science or Mathematics from an accredited College or University or equivalent degree / experience
nMinimum five (5) to seven (7) years Engineering Project experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing.
nSix Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification(s) a plus
nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
n
nExperience managing capital projects, CAPEX forecasting and payback calculations
nExperience with development of Call for Tender documents including, Technical Specifications, Commercial Specifications and Standards
nProject Management, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD
nMust be exceptionally organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent multiple projects
nMust be highly self-directed and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
nUnderstand the essential value of engaging and actively communicating appropriate information to all levels involved with and/or affected by the project
nExcellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
nKnowledge on the following:
nReading, modifying, process flow and process instrumentation drawings
nDesign, Calculation, Implementation and Start Up of CIP (Clean in Place) Systems.
nThe design, calculation, and evaluation of Ultra Clean Tanks Manufacturing
nForm-Fill-Seal and Preformed packaging equipment from filling to palletizing
nUtility/facilities/building and grounds management including Ammonia refrigeration systems
nMilk chemistry, milk processing and PMO
nProcess Instrumentation for Receiving, Storage, Standardization, Homogenization, Pasteurization, Fermentation; and Fermented Products Culture dosing”
