MAINTENANCE MANAGER OPENING WITH A VERY LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN RICHMOND, CA. NEED A VERY STRONG CAPITAL PROJECT EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE MANAGER OUT OF FOOD MANUFACTURING.
nSALARY: $125k-$145K plus 25% Bonus (depending on how Retail Division does the Bonus could be more!)

nDirect Reports- 15 (13 Maint Mechanics and 1-2 Utility Workers/Parts Clark)
nThere is no Maintenance Supervisor at this plant

nNEEDS:
n1. Lots of Project Management Expereince (Capital Project Management $500K-2MM at least)
n2. Strong Management Skills
n3. Food Industry Experience Preferred
n4. No BS Degree Needed
n5. Union Environment Experience preferred
n6. PLC Controls Experience

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Oversee preventative maintenance compliance and effectivenessnt
- Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long termnt
- Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiencynt
- Promote development of cost saving initiativesnt
- Have or develop a network base with equipment vendorsnt
- Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safetynt
- Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)n

Minimum Qualifications:

- 3 years manufacturing plant engineering/management experience which includes financial management and project development and project management experiencent
- 2 or more years working with Lean Manufacturing principlesn
