NEW ORDER! Company is looking for either a Quality Manager OR an Assistant Quality Manager. PLANT IS LOCATED IN CONSHOCTON OHIO 
nSalary is dependent on experience level.

nJob Description: QUALITY MANAGER

nResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to the development, implementation and sustainment of a quality management system that promotes safety, quality, process improvement, problem resolution and contributes to the financial success of the business while complying with customer and ISO 9000 requirements.
nKey Responsibilities and Duties


  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.nt
  • Devise and review specifications, work instructions and SOP’s for products and processes.nt
  • Monitor and evaluate internal production processes through the use of ISO 9000, product, process and system audits.nt
  • Train associates on the proper use of monitoring and measuring equipment.nt
  • Train associates in proper production practices and basic quality assessments.nt
  • Train associates on applicable quality management system requirements.nt
  • Develop and maintain all relevant records as needed.nt
  • Drive the corrective action process using root cause analysis tools to effectively address potential failure modes from the process.nt
  • Create and implement changes to improve current processes and reduce cost.nt
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.nt
  • Address employee requests, issues or grievances on a timely basis and inform the Plant Manager and HR of issues or grievances.nt
  • Ensure responsibilities are delegated to a trained associate in the event of absence.n

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all quality data. nt
  • Make sure all audits are conducted to Companty's quality system standards.nt
  • Conduct and properly document problem solving sessions for corrective actions.nt
  • Conduct internal audits in accordance with Company's quality system.nt
  • Reduction of customer’s complaints.nt
  • Reduction of customer and internal PPM’s.nt
  • Ensure associates demonstrate proper use of monitoring and measuring equipment.n

n Desired Qualificationsnn


  • Two year degree in a quality / process field or equivalentnt
  • Two to four years of manufacturing experiencent
  • Possess a good working knowledge of ISO 9000 and Microsoft Office.nt
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization, including staff, management and customers. nt
  • Must also possess a mechanical background and be willing to help maintain and troubleshoot the processes. nt
  • Ability to work in a team environment.  nt
  • Must demonstrate maturity, high responsibility level, good judgment and a desire to learn and grow as future needs arise.  nt
  • Must be self-motivated and have a take-charge attitude.nt
  • Must be willing to work the hours necessary to complete all daily tasks. n
