- Previous verifiable experience as maintenance mechanic (min of 1yr)nt
- 3 to 4 years of experience in food processingnt
- Must supply own toolsnt
- Machining of parts using a lathe, mill, grinders, etc.nt
- Welding (preferred) – arc, heli-arc, plasma, sanitarynt
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps – both centrifugal and positive displacementnt
- Ability to troubleshoot systems through reading schematicsnt
- Skilled in electrical constructionnt
- Skilled in the use of electronic testing equipment with the ability to simulate bench testing proceduresnt
- Experience with utility-related equipment boilers, water systems, air compressors, HVACnt
- Experience with automated and high-speed packaging equipmentnt
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systemsnt
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other computer applicationsnt
- Strong electrical and instrumentation skills, and experience with PLCnt
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives and related electrical controlsn

- Perform predictive and preventive maintenance routines on all equipmentnt
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or layoutsnt

- Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas and follow good manufacturing practicesnt
- Must be able to participate in emergency response team (able to wear SCBA and respirator)nt
