nCFO-Chief Financial Officer
nReports To: CEO
nPosition Summary:
n• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. They will support the company by providing accurate and timely financial and analytical reports to drive the business and meet all compliance requirements.
n• As a key member of the leadership team, they will provide both strategy and tactical actions to meet financial planning and business tools. This will include direct responsibility for Accounting, Finance, IT and Procurement departments/staff.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
n• Provide leadership for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
n• Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, tax filings, and financial audits.
n• Leads the team in creating planning and management tools such as budgets, capital spending, expense trackers, market, and sales analysis.
n• Analyze operational and sales performance and provides reports and recommendations to optimize the business.
n• Provides long term analysis and projections on economic and market trends.
n• Manages inventory costing methods and cost accounting activities.
n• Oversees and manages hedging and procurement contract activities.
n• Manages all legal activities and general council activities.
n• Manages insurance policies, certifications, and renewals.
n• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs.
n• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
n• Supervise all staff.
n• Lead efforts on investment and raising of funds for businesses.
n• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and laws.
nQualifications:
n• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. BS required.
n• 8-10 years’ experience in a senior role, CPA designation desired.
n• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational & written skills.
n• Ability to manage financial & accounting computer applications.
n• Excellent skills working in Microsoft products in Office, specifically Excel, and Power of BI experience beneficial.
