“Company is seeking applicants for Controls Technician to join our team, this is a night shift position. 12 hour shifts, 2/2/3 shift schedule.
n
nPrimary responsibilities include (however may not be limited to):
n ^ Skilled performance of all plant electrical duties including PLC & MCC installation and maintenance
n ^ Ensure PLCs, robots, and any additional automation is functioning as expected
n ^ Read electrical schematics
n ^ Possess ability to install, trouble-shoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systems
n ^ Ability to install variable speed drives and troubleshoot electronic control systems including electric eyes and relays
n ^ Ability to strongly troubleshoot Allen.Bradley. programmable logic controls.
n ^ Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, clean and maintain machinery, equipment, fixtures, piping and plumbing systems, etc.
n ^ Read blueprints, manuals, drawings, computer screens, sketches and/or oral instructions.

nRequired Qualifications:
n ^ Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in industrial automation
n ^ A record of successful maintenance experience with a mastery of skills needed to perform everyday maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
n ^ Hands-on experience with electrical, PLC programming and hardware, and equipment troubleshooting
n ^ Ability/Willingness to work second or third shift
n ^ Successful candidates will be required to receive acceptable scores on several tests including mechanical and electrical aptitude exams, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol screening
n ^ Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving abilities
n ^ Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy
n ^ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and ladder logic
n ^ Ability to operate industrial equipment.
n ^ Good communication and interpersonal skills
n ^ Excellent safety and attendance records
n ^ High School diploma or equivalent
n
nPreferred Qualifications:
n ^ Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance or Journeyman Electrician
n ^ Manufacturing systems experience
n ^ Rockwell Automation Controls training
n ^ Allen Bradley PLC programming experience”
