nThe Maintenance Supervisor will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. He/She will be responsible for all maintenance mechanic work order tracking, review and implementation. The Supervisor will also assist the Maintenance Manager with asset reliability, projects and safety protocols.

nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:n

  • Direct maintenance staff by leading, instructing, and assigning work assignments
  • n

nn

    nt

  • Fosters a culture that does not tolerate equipment failures and seeks to understand and eliminate the causes using techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • nt

  • Track daily maintenance assignments, goals and objectives
  • nt

  • Ensures standard reliability and maintenance work processes are followed. Implements and tracks maintenance KPIs
  • nt

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong technical problem-solving skills, critical thinking and proven project management experience with coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Provide a review of equipment downtime and overtime working to improve costs
  • nt

  • Document corrective action on preventive maintenance performed.
  • nt

  • Analyzes operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics / KPIs related to asset reliability
  • nt

  • Develops and leads the reliability process to continuously improve equipment up-time and reduce related maintenance cost.
  • nt

  • Work with mechanics to ensure completion of work orders and PM’s in a timely manner
  • nt

  • Schedule mechanics time to best utilize line availability and the ability of the mechanic to get the job completed
  • nt

  • Develops, recommends and implements strategies for improving the reliability of the manufacturing processes
  • nt

  • Develops and executes maintenance strategies to achieve plant availability of 90%+.
  • nt

  • Periodically benchmarks current performance with internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement. Enforces Management of Change processes
  • n

nSupervisory Responsibilities: The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee Maintenance Mechanics.

  • Strong understanding of industrial, mechanical and electrical technologies.

  • Ability to work with hands, mechanical aptitude and proficient use of tools

  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships across the company and with third party contractors to increase overall reliability.
  • nt

  • Leadership skills in leading small to large groups

  • Ability to get ideas across to others both verbally and in written form

  • Safety conscious while keeping in mind time to complete work

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • nt

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent 2 year college or technical school recommended; or 2 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • nt

  • Proficient with CMMS and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PP
  • n
