What You Will Do:
nn
- nt
- nt
Lead development efforts with our digital team to expand product offering in pump automation and other developments
nt
- nt
Work with sister operating companies to integrate devices into SCADA and cloud-based platforms
nt
- nt
Assist with onboarding, monitoring, and managing digital assets
nt
- nt
Analyze cloud equipment data and make recommendations
nt
- nt
Provide technical support to our sales team and end users to determine application requirements & equipment needs
nt

Conduct field trials for new products, automation and digital developments to make necessary changes in the design of the product
nt
- nt
Develop prototypes, test plans, and validate new product offerings through in house or external testing
nt
- nt
Validate design changes or new suppliers through analysis and testing, as required
nt
- nt
Manage engineering changes and optimize the product cost related to design of the product
nt
- nt
Participate in or conduct design reviews and provide feedback using appropriate tools, i.e. FMEA, analyses, field and lab testing

Troubleshoot design related issues in production
nt
- nt
Maintain design integrity of products to meet safety requirements of local, federal and industry requirements
nt
- nt
Ensure design changes to products comply with regulatory requirements (ex. NACE, API, UL, CSA)

Create production, GA, and basic P&ID drawings for products and applications
nt
- nt
Optimize the design of existing products to reduce the product cost
nt
- nt

Minimum Qualifications:
nn
- nt
- nt
BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
nt
- nt
At least 3 years of related experience in field and with similar products such as chemical injection pumps and controllers
nt
- nt
Experience in Equipment Automation functionality, technical specifications, validation – motor controllers, sensors, PLCs or SCADA
nt
- nt
Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing processes
nt
- nt
Experience in 3D modeling
nt
- nt
Proficient in PLM
nt
- nt
Experience with ERP/MRP
nt
- nt
Strong organization skills
nt
- nt
Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of technical drawings including GD&T, and CAD (3D – SolidWorks preferred and 2D) models.
