We area seeking a forward and innovative professional to join our industry changing start-up as our Executive Sales and Marketing leader. As the company’s first divisional leader, you will be able to influence and implement a pathway to accomplish our goals and long-term vision to drive brand awareness and geographical market expansion while working closely with the CEO.
nThis individual will develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for the national and international Ready-Mix Concrete industry by creating compelling value messaging. Success in this role will be achieved by uncovering and developing new business opportunities for us by leveraging customer-centric solutions. In this initial direct B2B sales and marketing role, the ability to open and maintain communications with our clients and the  team is essential. Your innate people first mindset must include vision and insight and be data driven. Essential Duties:
n• Successfully seek and secure new customers
n• Maintain and grow relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance
n• Identify and build relationships with all decision makers, key contacts, and stakeholders during and after the sales process
n• Create a customer feedback organization with integration into all other
ndepartments to drive continuous improvements across all activities
n• Pursue new opportunities and implement profit enhancements
n• Continuously improve a customer base of diverse customers
n• Incorporate and orchestrate the internal resources required to successfully secure new customers
n• Leverage all external and internal partners to generate sales pipeline and enhance sales opportunities with both new and existing accounts
n• Develop and manage all necessary Social Media resources and industry associations/affiliations
n• Establish and be an effective partner for our sales, accounting, manufacturing, and leadership teams
n• Remain current on industry trends, market activities, governmental regulations, and the competitive landscape
n• Improve current pricing tools and develop internal processes to secure pricing for all bids and opportunities
n• Interpret and evaluate pricing and contracts to ensure proper adherence, mitigate exposure, and eliminate risk, while achieving expected profit margins
n• Participate, coordinate, and conduct quarterly (when necessary) and annual reviews with current customers
n• Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed
n• Travel as needed Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
n• Minimum of 10 years of successful B2B Ready-Mix industry sales experience
n• 3+ years proven track record of effectively interacting with executive teams and senior management
n• Experienced with a concentration in marketing, sales, or related curriculum Desired Qualifications:
n• Experience with more than one start-up
n• Successful sales experience in Ready-Mix Concrete and/or Equipment sales
n• Presentation and negotiation skills
n• Strong communication skills with an ability to influence
n• Knowledge of building effective pricing strategies and pricing tools
n• Demonstrate sound business judgement
n• Financial prowess and an ability to create, manage, and critique budgets
n• Superior customer service and relationship-building skills
