nJob description: Highway Project Manager- Roadway
n
nJob Requirements:
n10 years of related work experience.
nPE license (NJ) required (or ability to obtain through reciprocity within 6 months)
nProficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation design software
nExperience in management and design of roadway, traffic, and/or bridge improvement projects (NJDOT & NJTA experience a plus)
nFamiliar with NJDOT and AASHTO design standards
nKnowledge of principles traffic engineering and related programs (SYNCHRO, HCM, etc.) a plus
nHighly motivated and eager to work on a diverse range of transportation improvement projects for local, county, and state agencies
nWillingness to represent FPA at professional societies and technical seminars
nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
nProficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Responsibilities:
nDevelop design plans for a variety of transportation improvement projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation Software
nComplete design reports and calculations for roadway or traffic design tasks
nDevelop construction cost estimates and project specific specifications
nCoordinate with all applicable regulatory agencies and utilities
nComplete assignments independently with minimal supervision
nCollaborate with staff within the transportation group and across various other disciplines on larger projects
nDelegate tasks to staff engineers and monitor their work
nMonitoring of the project schedule, budget, and staffing needs
