POSITION TITLE: Barrel Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to the warehouse operation according to the standards set by federal, state and local agencies and company policy; coordinates necessary maintenance actions to maintain production; maintains entry and regauge as directed by manager; responsible for solving production related problems, and directs union personnel to meet production needs.
o Ensure whiskey quality is at the maximum standard. Manage the quality rating system, barrel movements, and computer databases. Develop and implement a plan to transition computer reporting & batching to hourly workforce
o Lead computer and Manufacturing Module (GEAC) training for hourly personnel. Manage Manufacturing Module (GEAC) data collection and ensure accuracy. Communicate and respond to issues with system implementation and operations. Streamline and update Rep
o Direct the safety program in the barrel warehouse. Lead the development of the Team Leader involvement in the safety program. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
o Work closely with my Manager to improve a work related skill(s), which will lead to my improved performance, benefit my professional growth as well as the company's success. Enforce company Work Rules & Policies while maintaining a positive work environment
o Develop and maintain the relationships with our current customers. Maintain the current market pricing and demand for used barrels. Coordinate & lead national/international barrel transportation requirements. Implement electronic submittal of paperwork,
o Ensure adherence to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
o Through personal example and direct management, create an environment that supports self-directed work teams and productive employee relations while maintaining compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
o Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
o Minimum of 2years of related experience
o Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
o Ability to work overtime if necessary
