Position Specifics:
Department: Parts
Reports to: Parts Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Performs customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the dealership. Assist the Parts Manager on managing the shipping & receiving department personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Places machine down and stock ordered parts as needed for parts & service departments in a timely manner
- o Assists the Parts Manager or Site Manager with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventory
- o Verifies receiving and receipting-in of parts shipments
- o Monitors shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager
- o Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- o Supplies service technicians with parts as required
- o Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Ability to order parts in JDPOINT or Vendor websites, receipt and invoice parts in PFW business system as required by their department Manager
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Forklift license required
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
