Co-Alliance Cooperative has an exciting opportunity in our Energy Division at our Hammond location. We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to perform the job functions of loading/unloading trailers safely and efficiently, moving pallets of product, palletizing bags, picking orders, completing documentation and cleaning in the warehouse. You must be customer focused, hardworking, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be self-motivated and work well in a team setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: include but not limited to
- Perform all job functions as needed to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.
- Control and monitor all load out functions.
- Ensure product quality
- Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
- Load and unload products.
- Operate heavy equipment/forklift as needed.
- Conduct regular house-cleaning duties, processes and record keeping.
- Maintain and keep records on all equipment including vehicles and all other facility equipment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Consistently lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders and stairs; work in dusty conditions and changing temperatures.
- Work extended hours to meet business demands.
- Experience operating forklifts, skid steers
- Strong mechanical background
- Able to work in dusty conditions and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
- Able to work extended hours to meet business demands
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to obtain a CDL
